Overview

Room V is a group of 4 Properties all located in Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia catering to business & Leisure travellers. They are 3-star properties with Room V @ Jalan Sultanah: 35 rooms; Room V @ Jalan Jenang: 21 rooms; Room V @ Jalan Megat: 28 rooms; Room V @ Kluang Parade: 50 rooms.

Challenges Faced

  1. Property generates only direct bookings and are not listed on any online platforms. The properties were managing day-to-day operations manually across multiple properties with 40–50 rooms each which became time-consuming and manually inefficient.
  2. There was no clear data on which bookings were confirmed, pending, or yet to be recorded.
  3. Tracking guest check-ins, check-outs, room allocation, and complete guest details was difficult without a centralized system.
  4. Billing and payment tracking lacked transparency, including who collected payments, the amount received, and the mode of payment.
  5. There was no proper way to record the revenue generated and expenses incurred at the property.
  6. Housekeeping teams struggled to identify real-time room status, making it hard to track clean and dirty rooms.

  2. Bookings can now be created in software with complete guest, booking, and payment details, along with automated booking confirmation vouchers sent to guests.

  4. A Dashboard to give an overall glimpse of the current day status. Different colour codes to identify the stage of the bookings.
  5. Centralized guest profiles allow easy access to guest history for repeat bookings, marketing initiative or police enquiry when required.
  6. The Companies Module supports credit bookings for travel agents and corporate partners, enabling flexible payment settlements.
  7. Property expenses can be recorded under different categories and reviewed through detailed Monthly Profit & Loss reports.
  8. A wide range of reports provide clear insights into sales, revenue and operational performance for making any decision.
  9. Multiple user logins with role-based access help track staff activities and ensure accountability across operations.
