Overview
The Problem
This 39 rooms hotel was managed by the owners who were involved in all aspects of the management, including operations and marketing. The proportion of the bookings coming in through online platforms were less compared to the offline bookings. Besides, rate updating was done manually on the basis of rooms occupied. The location of the hotel in a pilgrim centric location coupled with high percentage of last-minute bookings was also a challenge to manage the bookings.
The Solution
Grande Inn started using Aiosell All-In-One marketing software in Jan’23. The dynamic pricing which has several factors such as occupancy percentage, last minute factors, weekday/weekend factors, season and month factors along with automation helped manage rates for future dates as well as last minute bookings. The usage of the PMS helped the hotel to manage the bookings in an organized manner with allocation of the bookings, check-in, check-out and addition of services all being done on the PMS. The owners could now concentrate on improving guest experience and property maintenance and hygiene while the analytics and reporting from Aiosell kept them updated with hotel KPIs (with daily, weekly and monthly reports). The automated emails at the time of check-in/check-out helped the hotel to add a sense of personalization for each guest.
The Results
The hotel saw a steady growth in revenues from all distribution platforms with help of Aiosell’s All-In-One hotel system.
